With the lid recessed 1/4", needle workers can install their finished pieces onto the top of the box. This size box can also be used as a work box, placing your needles, thread etc. on the recessed top which keeps them from moving all around and then placed inside the box when done for the day. Size is 7" long x 4.5" wide x 2.5" tall. The lid is recessed 1/4".
